Héritas had its infrastructure running fully on bare-metal servers, they had a lot of data-processing pipelines and services running the whole time which were recurrently exposed to On-premise common risks like data storage failure.

 

So, the first main goal was migrating this data to the Cloud in the fastest and safest way possible to minimize the loss, then migrating their whole workloads to the cloud, using a containerized solution. Teracloud designed and implemented a two-phased migration solution.

EKS was crucial in the second phase of the migration. With a cluster provided by EKS, the Kubernetes implementation included Independent Namespaces per stack, an ALB ingress controller, Helm Charts implementation to package the application, and a GitOps CD pipeline implemented with Argo CD.
