Business Development Associate

Location:  Santiago de Chile.

Job type:  Full-time.

Job Brief

As a Business Development Associate at Teracloud, your main goal will be to drive revenue growth through end-to-end sales management, from demand generation and lead qualification to deal closure. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, engaging potential clients, and managing the entire sales process — working closely with the Growth and Marketing teams to ensure a consistent pipeline and a high conversion rate.
 

This role is ideal for a proactive, goal-oriented professional who enjoys both the strategic and execution sides of business development in the cloud computing and AWS ecosystem

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and demand generation to negotiation and closure.

  • Develop and execute multi-channel outreach strategies (email, LinkedIn, calls, events, ABM campaigns) to identify and engage high-potential prospects.

  • Research and segment target markets, identifying key decision-makers and business challenges across industries such as finance, retail, saas and energy.

  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities within HubSpot, ensuring consistent follow-up and data hygiene.

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to align demand generation initiatives with business goals.

  • Represent Teracloud in industry events and webinars, actively networking to generate new relationships and opportunities.

  • Deliver impactful presentations to prospects, articulating the value of Teracloud’s AWS solutions.

  • Analyze sales and lead metrics, providing regular reports on campaign performance, conversion rates, and ROI.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (preferred).

  • Certifications in Digital Marketing, Inbound Marketing, or Demand Generation (e.g., HubSpot) are a plus.​

Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or demand generation, preferably in technology or cloud computing.

  • Proven ability to generate qualified leads.

  • Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce) and prospecting tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Crunchbase).

  • Experience executing ABM campaigns and outbound strategies.

  • Familiarity with AWS services and the cloud ecosystem is highly desirable.

Hard Skills

  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).

  • Proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM for pipeline management and reporting.

  • Experience with prospecting and ABM tools such as Apollo, Dripify, or Lemlist.

  • An analytical mindset for data-driven decision-making and campaign optimization.

  • Knowledge of digital marketing principles and lead generation metrics.
